Bill Clinton’s “Hairgate” in 1993
Back in 1993, long before Clinton was involved in one of the biggest political scandals with Monica Lewinsky, he was the subject of another scandalous event, but to a lesser extent. The event of 1993 could be called Hairgate.

Clinton and Air Force One were held up at LAX airport for more than an hour. The reason was so that the president could get a haircut on the plane. And since Air Force One was hanging out on the tarmac for an hour, half of the runways had to be shut down, and incoming flights were put on hold. All for a haircut.
