The show grows on you so quickly that it feels as if you always loved it. All the characters have distinct, resolute personas and backstories, which they still stick to. A cop show at its heart, it doesn’t involve the debauchery or violence that you expect from such shows; it’s just a giant fusion of enthusiasm, leg-pulling, and fun. The sixth season premiered on January 10.
