Free from the Constraints of Marriage
Costner was now free from his 16-year marriage and living his life as a bachelor – and it’s safe to say that he lived it to the maximum. However, there were more rumors circulating of extra-marital affairs that took place during his marriage to Silva. One of the most significant – although unconfirmed – was supposedly with actress Halle Berry, in 1989.

When the affair was said to have taken place, Berry was just establishing herself as an actress, starring in 12 episodes of “Living Dolls.” Costner, meanwhile, was in the middle of starring in “Field of Dreams” while still enjoying the stardom that came with the huge success of “Dances with Wolves,” Although neither Costner nor Berry have ever confirmed the rumors, they are still friends to this day.
