7. “Need You Now,” Lady Antebellum, No. 2, March 20, 2010
Need You Now by the country trio Lady Antebellum was one of the most popular songs in the country music genre for the 2000s decade. It was the title track for the album Need You Now and was the band’s first song to debut in the UK and Europe.
It is a little hard to believe that a song that won 4 Grammy Awards including Song of the Year and Record of the Year did not make it to the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 100. However, it did spend five weeks at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs.
